Why Choose YI TING
Why Manufacturers and Brands Choose Yi-Ting as Your Nonwoven Converting Partner
A manufacturer validated at the highest level
In March 2020, as COVID-19 created an acute global shortage of medical-grade masks, Yi-Ting became one of the first batch of mask manufacturers to receive government certification in Taiwan. Our production quality and response speed during that period were formally recognised by Taiwan’s President, Tsai Ing-wen, who visited our facility in person.
That recognition was not ceremonial. It reflected something specific: the ability to manufacture medical-grade nonwoven products at scale, under pressure, with verifiable quality control — and to do it faster than almost any other manufacturer in the country at the time.
First-batch certified mask manufacturer · MD double certification · Nelson Lab tested (ASTM F2100 + EN14683)
Certifications held: ISO 9001:2015 · ISO 13485:2016 · FDA medical device registration · CE certification · ASTM F2100 · EN14683 · CNS14774 · CNS14775
Third-party test certificates are available on request for buyers who require documentation before sourcing.
What Yi-Ting does that most nonwoven suppliers do not
One Window, Full Coordination
We directly oversee material selection, process design, and troubleshooting. If a specific step requires specialized equipment beyond our in-house capabilities, we seamlessly coordinate with trusted partner facilities—giving you a single point of contact rather than multiple vendors. Regardless of where production occurs, if an issue arises, we pinpoint whether the root cause lies in the material, the manufacturing process, or the application environment.
Development quantities through full production scale
Food-contact and medical-grade converting
Food-contact and medical-grade nonwovens are converted on dedicated lines, separate from industrial production, with in-house BFE testing to TTRI-equivalent specification.
The concerns buyers usually have before switching suppliers
We have an existing product. Can you match it exactly?
Probably not exactly—and any supplier who promises an exact match should be approached with caution. Material sources vary, processing conditions differ, and their combination yields slight variations in performance. This holds true whether you are sourcing finished converted products or raw nonwoven roll goods. What we can do is match or exceed your required performance outcomes: flow rate, seal strength, filtration rating, and structural integrity under operational conditions. Before making the first sample, we communicate upfront what we expect to achieve, what may be marginal, and why.
How many rounds of sampling will we need?
It depends on how established the product type is and how well-defined your spec is — anywhere from one sample round to six or more. We say this upfront rather than promising one round and delivering six.
What if the production batch doesn’t match the approved sample?
This is the most common failure point when switching suppliers, and it usually happens because the converter documents the product spec but not the process parameters. We document both: seal temperature, dwell time, tension settings, inspection criteria, and the specific material lot used for approval. Production runs against those parameters. If incoming material tests outside the tolerance window, production pauses for review rather than continuing and flagging issues after the fact.
We need small quantities now but volume later. Can you handle both?
Yes, by design. We operate 25 converting lines across a five-story facility in Guishan. Small development runs and large-scale production batches utilize the exact same equipment and team. There is no hand-off to a separate factory when you scale—the identical parameters and conditions that produced your approved sample will produce your commercial batch.
