YI TING Non-Woven has launched a new Fryer Oil Filter Paper co-developed with a Japanese paper mill, unveiled at Food Taipei 2026, Taiwan's international food and beverage trade show. The line is already used by major chain restaurants and fast-food operators in Japan.
Frying oil breaks down faster once food residue and fine particles build up in it. Left unfiltered, that residue speeds up oxidation, dulls flavor, and forces kitchens to change oil more often than they'd like. YI TING's Fryer Oil Filter Paper is built to catch that residue before it does the damage.
The line launches in three formats. C-500 contains activated carbon and is aimed at operators who need to keep oil color and odor in check — a common requirement for higher-end restaurants and open-kitchen concepts. 5700 and 5700H are built for straightforward, high-volume residue filtration, and suit chain restaurants, fast-food operators, food factories, and central kitchens running multiple fryers a day. All three formats can be custom-cut into rolls or sheets, the same way YI TING already handles its Oil Absorbent Non-Woven Cloth for Soups, to match a kitchen's existing filtration equipment.
Every format is manufactured in Taiwan, in line with the quality standards YI TING applies across its non-woven fabric lines. For a food-service operator, that combination — Japanese-developed filtration technology paired with Taiwanese manufacturing — means less oil wasted, fewer fryer shutdowns for oil changes, and one less variable to manage during peak service.
The Fryer Oil Filter Paper joins YI TING's existing line of Non-Woven Kitchen Products, which includes steamer mats, sink strainer bags, and range hood filters. Restaurants, food factories, and central kitchens interested in specifications or a custom size can contact YI TING directly.
